Brick cleaning, paint removal, Stone restoration, repointing services by Restore are usually used by property owners, developers, and contractors to improve the appearance of a property by cleaning the brick or stone work, or removing paint from brick work.

Brick cleaning and Masonry cleaning:

In order to remove unwanted atmospheric soiling that has tarnished much of London's brickwork we apply specially formulated brick cleaning chemicals, which in association with water rinsing, remove this soiling and return the brickwork to its original colour. Brick cleaning do not damage the brick-face or sound pointing. If pointing is poor prior to brick cleaning, we can undertake repointing if requested.

Paint Removal:

In the case of paint that has been applied over brick, we prepare and apply masonry paint removers to essentially dissolve the paint and make ready to be washed off. This can then be left permanently unpainted, showing the natural beauty of the brick. Upon completion the bricks are left undamaged and cleaned.

Stone Cleaning:

Certain types of stone are best, or should only be stone cleaned with a method of cleaning called Masons’ Nebulous Spray Cleaning. We undertake this type of cleaning, and it is extremely successful on most types of sand stones, York Stone, Portland, and Bath stone. It slowly dissolves the soiling leaving the original stone surface undamaged.
